Backup Before Alpha Launch

UltraServers

As some of you will know, we have been working very hard these past months, and we are finally getting close to some major changes for UltraServers. Our servers with Genoa processors have been delivered and installed in New York and Frankfurt, and we can’t wait until all of you get the chance to start using them.

With the new servers in place, we are nearing the launch of UltraServers’ Alpha phase and will therefore be taking the current servers offline. But do not worry, you will have plenty of time to create multiple backups of your game data and it will be available for download to your local machine. Your backups should be fully compatible and can easily be restored on the new servers.

To show our appreciation for all the support and feedback we have received from you during the testing phase, we will continue to offer free game servers throughout the duration of our Alpha phase. Anyone who signs up will get a free game server as long as we have stock available.

Backup, backup, backup

Since we will be permanently shutting down the current servers we urge you all to take the proper measures and backup your saves and game data. To make this process as painless as possible we have created a how-to guide that you can find by following this link. The guide will in detail show you step-by-step how to create and download backups to your local machine.

Once you have signed up for our Alpha phase and gained access to the new server, you may want to restore your backups of game data. For this reason, we have created another guide that you can find by following this link. You can use this guide to restore your game data and resume playing from where you previously left off.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you all to our Documentation Hub. This is where you will find guides for the UltraServers dashboard, Minecraft, and in the future, other games as we expand our game library. As of writing this blog post, the content is limited, but with time we will be frequently adding new guides and keeping the current ones up-to-date.

If you have an idea for a guide you are more than welcome to share it with us, and we will take it into consideration and possibly add it to the library. We value the input from our community and always encourage you to share your thoughts and ideas with us. This is how we can make sure that we are building a service molded to the needs of you, our community.

Upcoming Announcement

To sum it all up, taking a backup of your server before we take them offline is crucial if you want to save all the progress you have made so far. So, make sure you do this in good time as we will not be able to restore the deleted data once the servers have been taken offline on 27th April 2023.

In conclusion, we are thrilled to have received such valuable feedback from our community members during the testing phase. Your insights and suggestions have helped us to shape and refine our services. We cannot wait to share the exciting news with you all very soon. Stay tuned for further updates and be sure to join us as we embark on this exciting new journey together!
