Who is UltraServers?

UltraServers is a game server hosting platform within the Ultra brand and has more than a decade of experience in the hosting industry. We provide shared game servers with individual resource allocation, top-quality server hardware, and premium support. We innovate and strive to ensure our clients are cared for.

Is UltraServers free?

UltraServers is NOT a free service. However, during the alpha phase we have offered free game servers to alpha testers consisting of 4GB RAM, 2vCores, and 100GB Storage. Free plans for testers will expire on 1st November 2023. No free resource upgrades will be offered; paid resources upgrades will be available sometime in September.

Where are your servers located?

We currently offer game servers in three locations. You can choose to deploy your game server in New York, US, Frankfurt, Germany, and Singapore. However, as the demand grows, we will expand our server locations to other parts of the world.

What is CPU Boosting?

CPU Boosting is applied during the initial startup of a game server to speed up the startup process. The allocated amount of vCores is increased by 50% for 2.5 minutes.

How do I allocate more resources to my server?

Server resource allocation can be done from the Dashboard > Inventory > Edit Server. Go to this guide for detailed instructions.

How do I upload files larger than 1024MB?

To upload files larger than 1024MB in file size, you would have to use the SFTP protocol instead of simply uploading the file via the File Manager. Go to this guide for detailed instructions.

What is a reverse proxy?

A reverse proxy is a server that sits between a client and a web server (in other words, a middleman). It receives requests from the client and forwards them to the web server. The web server then sends the response back to the reverse proxy, which in turn sends it back to the client. This can be useful for load balancing, security, and caching purposes. What is a subdomain?

A subdomain is essentially a part of a larger domain. It is like a subdivision of a main website, with its own unique address. For example, if the main domain is ultraga.me a subdomain could be sub.ultraga.me. This allows server owners to create a personalized URL. This is helpful for players as they can access the server via the URL instead of the IP-address. Checkout this guide for detailed instructions on how to create subdomains.

Billing

Do you offer a free trial?

No, but we offer a 7-day refund period from the day of your first resource plan purchase. Read more about eligibility and see our Refund policy in detail here.

What are the payment methods offered?

Paypal
Credit/Debit card with PayPal as the secure processor
Stripe (This must be supported in your card issuers country, PayPal is the recommended alternative). More info can be found here.

How do I upgrade my resource plan?

Your resource plan can be upgraded to a higher tier resource plan from the UltraServers dashboard. Go to Billing > Resource Plans and select the plan you would want to upgrade. Then click the Upgrade button and select what resource plan you want to upgrade to. Finalize your choice by clicking Confirm Changes. More info can be found here.

I want to pay automatically via PayPal. How can I do that?

During the payment process, you will be given the option of payment method. Select Pay with PayPal and authorize the payment by logging in to your PayPal account. More info can be found here.

In regard to the pre-approved payment subscription, this is an agreement between you and PayPal. If you cancel your UltraServers resource plan, you must also cancel your pre-approved payment subscription that you have set up with PayPal. More info can be found here.

Any overpayments due to this are non-refundable and are automatically added to the credit balance of your account.

What happens if I don't pay my invoice?

If payment has not been made before the invoice due date, your UltraServers resource plan will be suspended 48 hours after the due date has been reached. A grace period of 12 days will be provided before a suspended service is terminated. Once termination is executed, all data will be permanently deleted.

Minecraft

Logs can be safely shared using the mclo.gs website. It will remove any sensitive and personal information from the logs before giving you a link to share. Go to this guide for detailed instructions.

How can I create/restore a backup of my Minecraft server?
